Travelling in Indian Ocean
Indian Ocean Tour Packages

The shortest flights and the least paperwork we sell.

Six island nations off India's own coastline, most of them reachable in a few hours with little more than a passport.

Discover the Indian Ocean

Six islands, and no two of them do the same thing.

Travelling in Indian Ocean

The Maldives is one resort to an island and a seaplane to reach it. Sri Lanka is barely a flight at all, and none of it is a beach holiday until the last three days. Mauritius has temples in the villages and Bhojpuri spoken on the beach. The Seychelles put granite boulders where everyone else has coral. Madagascar broke away eighty-eight million years ago and grew things found nowhere else. Closest of everything we sell, and the easiest to get into.

Which island

Four nights, seven, or the full fortnight.

Some of these are a long weekend from Kochi. Others need two weeks and a plan. Start with how much leave you have.

Booking through us

The easiest region to book badly.

Every island looks the same in a photograph and prices vary by a factor of ten across the same lagoon. Knowing which resort earns its rate is most of the job.

20 Years of Experience

Two decades of island bookings out of Kerala, and we know which properties disappoint.

Closest Long Haul We Run

Short flights, minimal jet lag, and most of these need little or no visa.

Resorts Matched to Budget

Guesthouse, mid-range or overwater villa. All three sit on the same water.

All-Inclusive Pricing

Seaplane and speedboat transfers, taxes and meal plans. The number we quote is the number you pay.

Transfers Booked Ahead

Seaplanes fly by daylight only, so the flight time decides the island.

Dedicated Support

A Fortune tour manager on group departures, and our team reachable throughout.

What kind of trip

Four ways to take the same ocean.

Overwater, granite, tea country or wildlife. Say which and the shortlist writes itself.

Before you book

Send us three things, and we will shortlist.

Your month, your budget per night, and whether you want to move around or stay put. That narrows six countries to one fairly quickly.

Add the extra days

Two detours that change the trip.

  • Ganga Talao, Mauritius

    Ganga Talao, Mauritius

Curepipe + Grand Bassin + Chamarel. A crater lake holding water from the Ganges, a Shiva statue at the gate, and coloured earth further down the road.

  • The Hill Country, Sri Lanka

    The Hill Country, Sri Lanka

Kandy + Nuwara Eliya + Ella. Tea estates on every slope, a train that takes seven hours to cover very little ground, and nobody in a hurry.

Traveller stories

What travellers bring back from the islands.

Rarely the villa. A reef morning that went quiet, a meal in the wrong place at the right time, and the boat crossing nobody photographed.
