Japan Tours From Kochi, Tokyo to Osaka in Six Nights

Ancient temples, Mount Fuji above Lake Kawaguchiko, the bullet train, and thousands of torii gates at Fushimi Inari. Fortune's Japan tours run 6 nights in spring or 11 days in Japan-Korea, with flights, visas, meals, and a Malayalee tour manager included.

Why Japan

The Same Six Nights, Whichever Route You Pick.

The Same Six Nights, Whichever Route You Pick.

Every Fortune route through Japan keeps the same six-night chapter: three nights in Tokyo, one in Hiroshima, two in Osaka. It is never cut short to make room for somewhere else, and on the 7-day tour it is the whole trip. What fills those nights is varied. A Buddhist temple first built in the 7th century and a 634-metre tower on the same afternoon. A lake cruise with Fuji filling the sky, then a ropeway up to a deck more than 1,000 metres above sea level. Digital art at TeamLab Planets, a seat on the bullet train, a quiet hour at the Peace Memorial in Hiroshima, gold leaf on Kinkakuji, torii gates by the thousand at Fushimi Inari, and deer wandering Nara Park. Meals are on the plan, the visa file is on our desk, and a Malayalee tour manager is beside the group from Kochi and back.

Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko

3,776 Metres, the Easy Way

Mount Fuji rises to 3,776 metres, the highest point in Japan, sacred to Shinto since the 7th century and one of the country's three sacred mountains. More than 200,000 people climb to the summit every year, mostly in summer. This tour takes the easier way and asks for no climbing. The day starts with a cruise on Lake Kawaguchiko, where the northern shore gives some of the best views of the peak. Then the Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway rises 400 metres from the eastern shore to a deck near the top of Mount Tenjo, more than 1,000 metres above sea level, with the lake below and Fuji across the water. Dinner follows, and the coach returns to Tokyo for the night.

Kyoto and Nara, Before Dinner in Osaka.
Worth the whole day

Kyoto and Nara, Before Dinner in Osaka.

Nara is a small city of temples, shrines, and gardens, second only to Kyoto for their richness, and the tour gives both cities one full day out of Osaka. In Nara, Todaiji Temple and Nara Park: a public park opened in 1880 at the foot of Mount Wakakusa, one of the oldest in Japan at about 1,240 acres, listed as a Place of Scenic Beauty and known for its deer. Kyoto brings Kinkakuji, the Zen temple with gold leaf on its top two floors, built as a shogun's retirement villa and turned into a temple of the Rinzai sect after he died in 1408, and then Fushimi Inari Shrine, where thousands of vermilion torii gates line the paths up Mount Inari, 233 metres high and part of the shrine grounds. The coach is back in Osaka for dinner.

Set Routes, Your Own Dates.

Set Routes, Your Own Dates.

Every route above runs on fixed group dates, and every one of them can be redrawn for a private group. Tell the desk your dates, your numbers, and whether Japan alone is enough, and the same six-night chapter comes back shaped around you, with a fresh quote.

The small print, in plain words

Know This Before You Book.

Carry an original passport valid six months past your return, with four blank pages. Our desk prepares the Japan visa on every route, and the South Korea visa on the 11 day routes; the consulates decide. Tax collected at source is charged over the tour cost and can be claimed against your PAN. Insurance covers Indian residents up to age 70. Air tickets cannot be refunded once issued. Japanese rooms are small, mostly with twin beds, so a twin plus a single beats a triple. Pack one small bag for the Hiroshima night. Departures need 30 travellers, every day involves walking, and no one can schedule the blossom.

FAQ

Questions with useful answers

Six on every route: three in Tokyo, one in Hiroshima, two in Osaka. The 7-day Japan Cherry Blossoms tour is Japan only. The two 11 day routes add four nights in Seoul, before Japan on the spring departure or after it on the classic route. Every meal is arranged.

Choose by days and season. The 7-day tour is for Japan alone in spring. The 11-day Japan Korea route travels Japan first and ends in Seoul. The 11-day Cherry Blossoms route opens in Seoul during the blossom window, then runs Japan in reverse, flying home from Tokyo.

No one can promise it. Blossom is a natural event, and its timing shifts slightly every year. Spring departures are planned toward the usual window, but the terms are clear that no claim or adjustment applies if the trees are not in bloom during the tour. Pink is the bonus.

An original passport valid six months beyond your return date, with four blank pages. Japan visa charges sit inside every package; South Korea's too on the 11-day routes; our desk files them all, though granting rests with the consulates. Travel insurance to age 70 is included for Indian residents.

All three routes use 4-star hotels in Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Osaka. Rooms are compact, around 15 to 18 square metres, and most have twin beds; a double is usually queen size. A third bed is often a rollaway, so the desk suggests a twin plus a single room.

Yes. The set departures are the starting point. The desk builds private versions of the same six-night Japan chapter: your own dates, a slower pace, extra nights in Kyoto, or a Japan-only trip outside the spring season. Describe what you have in mind, and they will quote it.
